This is a breaking news in VoIP for consumers and businesses who would like to save a lot on communications. I posted the entire news article here so that everyone could read it. This is currently available in the UK and I am hoping that Voicenet Solutions would make this fixed mobile convergence solution available everywhere. It is always good to have calls to our fixed business landlines be forwarded to our mobile phones using our business VoIP network. We may no longer have to give out our mobile numbers but instead just our fixed landlines since calls would be forwarded to our mobile. Right now, we understand the infancy of these technologies but we are hoping that soon these would be available everywhere not only in the UK but also to the rest of the world. We pray that Voicenet Solutions hear us on this one.

There was this story that there were a group of individuals scattered all across the globe who constantly kept in touch with each other using different communication mediums and tools. They realized that keeping up with these communication tools are quite expensive and unreliable. What they thought of was that there was an opportunity with the predicament that they encountered and came up with a plan to create an integrated, easy-to-use communication and collaboration free service tool to address needs of people who were geographically dispersed but have a constant need for communications and collaborations.

It is quite difficult to get into business when we are trying to communicate with major languages being used now in the West. Hard to accept but not all who are into business are capable of speaking the Universal Language which is the English language. That is why many businesses who have clients from the other parts of the Globe wherein a different language is being used needs a translator to help them in understanding languages not commonly shared by everyone.

Right now, a new technology had arised. This is Promt 7.8 – an online translation tool that would make one easily translate phrases and words to and from various major languages from the West. Whether it be French, Dutch, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian and Russian to English. It is a major assistance to most of us who are into business. Right now, most meetings are being done online and some are through chat or private messaging through chat conferences. This tool is a very usable software that could easily assist anyone who would be talking to another businessman from another part of the Globe. Language would no longer be a barrier when it comes to that.

It has been a while since I was able to write again about VoIP. My last post was (VoIP Review) about a general point of view of how VoIP would soon shape the future of communications. Right now, Mobile VoIP were released by providers such as Skype and Jajah. Cheaper alternatives for consumers and businesses who frequently uses long distance communications. Much cheaper than when using conventional telephone systems using Distance Dialling.

Skype released their 3 Skypephone, a mobile phone running over VoIP which is a stylish mobile phone that calls, texts and takes pictures like you’d expect it to; one can also use it to call and instant message their friends, free, wherever they are in the world. The only downside is that it is only available in selected countries for now. 3 Skypephone has been developed in partnership with the mobile operator 3.
